Post-acne dark marks (PIH)

Flat dark marks left after pimples; skin otherwise calm

C

Is this you?

  • No or occasional pimples
  • Flat dark spots where pimples were
  • Skin calm, not stinging
  • Wants 'even tone'

The goal: Protect first, then fade — without waking the acne up.

What to expect

  • First visible change: 8–12 weeks
  • Older marks: 6–12 months
  • Sunscreen is the treatment; the serum helps

How often: The treatment starts every other evening and the fading step every other morning; both move to daily after two to three weeks. Anything stronger waits for your 8–12-week review.

Your routine, in shape

Three jobs. Nothing extra.

The exact products, amounts and days come on your routine card once we have seen your skin — two or three products at Stage 1, never ten.

Step 1Cleanse

Gentle — the marks are healed skin, not active acne

Step 2Brighten

A brightening serum that is safe on darker skin, plus barrier support

Step 3Protect

SPF50+ every morning; a night-time fading step arrives at Stage 2

One stage at a time

How the programme unfolds

We sell routines in stages so you never pay for products your skin is not ready for. Stage 1 always includes sunscreen and the one treatment your skin needs first. Stage 2 comes only after your 7-day check-in. Exact products and the quote come on WhatsApp once we have seen your photos; delivery is paid separately to the rider or courier.

Day 0Stage 1

Sunscreen plus the one treatment your skin needs first — with a routine card and exact amounts.

Day 7Check-in

You send a photo and tell us how it feels. We adjust before anything is added.

Week 4–6Stage 2

One new step, only if your skin is ready.

Week 8–12Review

We compare photos side by side and decide together what comes next.

Please don't

  • No exfoliants or acne treatments on calm skin
  • No 'brightening' creams from elsewhere
  • Indented scars are not marks — they need a clinic, and we will say so

When to see a dermatologist

Marks getting darker or spreading, or no change after 6 months with daily sunscreen, need a dermatologist.

Ready when you are.

Send two or three daylight photos on WhatsApp. We reply with what we see, where we would start, and the quote — no obligation.

Routines follow published dermatology evidence for Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin and are reviewed by us regularly. This is cosmetic skincare, not medical treatment; painful, cystic or rapidly changing skin is referred to a dermatologist.
